JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) required
  
• Licenses: Active Florida Medical License required
  
• Certifications: ATLS required
  
• Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine
  
• Other Qualifications: Must have clear NPBD background check
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide immediate recognition, evaluation, care, stabilization, and disposition of adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department.
  
• Manage high-acuity trauma and medical emergencies in a trauma facility.
  
• See an average of 2 patients per hour during 10-hour shifts.
  
• Coordinate with APP assistance for patient care without direct supervision of APPs.
  
• Complete documentation and patient care tasks after shift conclusion; no call back required.
