Job Details:

  • Emergency Medicine Board Certification required

  • Active Georgia medical license and Georgia DEA required

  • New graduates will be considered if Boarded

  • 12-hour shifts available covering both AM and PM schedules

  • EMR system: Meditech Expanse

  • Facility operates a 28-bay emergency department

  • Approximately 54,000 emergency room visits annually

  • Patient mix is typical for a sole community hospital

  • Level 3 Trauma Center designation

  • Nurse/APP Triage available for lower acuity patients

  • ED admission rate of 15%

  • Normal emergency room support staff provided

  • Orientation includes one day of orientation and one to two days of shadowing

  • Ongoing need with 1 position available
