Position Summary

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join a high-volume Emergency Department in Dothan, Alabama. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a modern emergency care environment with strong specialty support, advanced technology, and a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers. Physicians will provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages while working in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients
• Manage trauma, cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, and other emergent conditions
• Coordinate patient care with hospitalists, specialists, and consulting physicians
• Interpret diagnostic studies including laboratory results, imaging, and EKGs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based emergency care in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Eligible for Alabama medical licensure
• Strong clinical and procedural skills in emergency care
• Open to both experienced physicians and graduating residents
