Credentialing Timeframe: 14 Days (Fast-Track Privileging)

We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for targeted shift coverage throughout November 2026.

• Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) State Medical License or active IMLC required.
• Enrollment Hard Requirements: Candidates must be actively enrolled in PECOS and credentialed/enrolled with NC Medicaid prior to submission.
• Certifications: Board Certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM).
• EHR System: MEDITECH 6.1.
• Work-Life Balance: Standard 12-hour shifts with zero call requirements .
• Accommodations: Hospital-owned apartment provided for locum physicians.

• Department Overview: Open ICU model; annual ED volume of 32,000 patients (daily volume averaging patients).
• Coverage Structure: Solo Emergency Room physician coverage supported by 2 mid-level providers per shift.
• Patient Volume: Expected workload of approximately patients per 12-hour shift.
