Overview

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants provides specialized dysphagia evaluations and mobile swallowing studies across Indianapolis and surrounding areas. The practice is part of a network with sister locations in New England, Texas and Houston.

Responsibilities

• Conduct swallowing evaluations on patients with swallowing disorders.
• Perform modified barium swallow studies and other dysphagia assessments.
• Operate mobile examination unit and coordinate scheduling to meet requests within 24–72 hours, often same day.
• Collaborate with speech–language pathologists and support staff across multiple facilities.
• All physicians with varied experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual income for 4–5 days per week ranges from $160,000 to $225,000+ depending on volume.
• No weekend or night call; malpractice insurance paid by the practice, including tail coverage.
• Health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and educational stipend.
• Consistent office hours, with staff home between 4:00PM and 5:00PM daily.
