Join a well-established community hospital located just south of Boston, Massachusetts, as a Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician. This role offers a collaborative Emergency Department environment with experienced physicians, excellent specialty support, and flexible scheduling. Practice Info
- Approximately 60,000 annual visits
- 84 physician coverage hours and 36 APP coverage hours daily
- Two physicians on overnight coverage from 1:00 AM-7:00 AM
- Strong specialty support including Surgery, Anesthesia, Obstetrics, Neonatology, 24-hour Cardiac Cath Lab, and dedicated Hospitalist services
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of emergency conditions
- Perform emergency procedures as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing, and specialists to provide exceptional patient care
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Compensation
- $230/hour plus productivity and quality bonuses
- Annual Bonus: Up to $40,000
- Night Shift Differential: Additional $325 per shift
Shift & Schedule
- Full-time: 15 shifts per month
- Primarily 8.5-hour shifts
- Flexible, physician-driven scheduling
Requirements
- BE or BC in Emergency Medicine
- Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- ATLS required until Emergency Medicine board certification is obtained
