Position Overview
Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant – Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, Washington, DC. Start date: September 1, 2026. Positions available include full‑time, part‑time, and PRN MD/DO and APP.
Responsibilities
- Respond to floor codes as part of the EM team.
- Participate in the Rapid Response and Code team with the Hospitalist team.
- Provide patient‑centered care in the 32‑bed Adult ER and collaboration with the pediatric emergency department.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation.
Schedule
40 hours of Physician coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage daily. Full‑time workload: 120 hours/month; part‑time: 80 hours/month.
Qualifications
- Physician Assistant or Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant.
- Certifications required: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation & Benefits

Location
Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center is a 136‑bed hospital in Southeast Washington, DC, located on the campus of St.Elizabeth’s Hospital near Congress Heights. The position is based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
