- Hospital Size: 49 licensed ED beds, 37 staffed ED beds
- Trauma Level - used to be a Level IV Community Hospital but it is now closed and they just utilize the ED to service the community
- Scheduling Needs: 12 shifts/month (full time)
- Shift Type(s): Days, Nights (8 am - 8 pm, 8 pm - 8 am)
- Need is for 80% nights, 20% days
- APP shifts 10hrs (2 pm - 10 pm)
- Hospitalists/Clinicians on Staff: single coverage with mid-level support during the afternoon shift
- Average Census: 10K Annual ED Volume
- We're seeing 970 patients on average per month
- Procedures: most standard ED procedures including suturing, reductions, FB removal, epistaxis control, etc. They are unlikely to perform high acuity procedures such as intubation, central line, chest tubes. Will triage any patients and transfer them out.
- Oregon licensed
- Certs required: BLS, ATLS
- ABEM preferred, will accept BC FM/IM with EM experience
- Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or Emergency Medicine by the Oregon State Board of Medical Examiners (OSBME) is required
- Providers should be comfortable practicing in a small community hospital with limited subspecialty backup. They should be comfortable seeing pediatric to geriatric patients and perform most standard ED procedures including suturing, reductions, FB removal, epistaxis control, etc. They are unlikely to perform high acuity procedures such as intubation, central line, chest tubes.Become an ICON:
