Emergency Medicine Physician

This community-based acute care hospital in Alabama seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage starting ASAP and continuing on an ongoing basis. The clinician will provide overnight clinical coverage, evaluating and treating patients of all ages in an on-site emergency department with approximately 25,000 annual visits. This role offers an opportunity to manage diverse emergency cases while collaborating with advanced practice providers during 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight locum tenens clinical coverage during 12-hour night shifts
• Evaluate and treat patients across all age groups
• Manage a variety of emergency cases
• Coordinate admissions and transfers as needed
• Work alongside APPs throughout each assigned shift
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation throughout each shift in accordance with established facility protocols

• Night shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
