Emergency Medicine Medical Director

IES has an opportunity for an Emergency Department Medical Director at CHI St. Luke's Health Emergency Center - Holcomb.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the emergency department.
• Manage the quality improvement plan, including attending regular meetings and reviewing medical records.
• Supervise staff, provide feedback, and ensure provision of high-quality care.
• Review provider schedules and ensure adequate staffing.
• Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Serve as a liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership.

Qualifications

• BC/BE ABEM or ABOEM or BC/BE Family Medicine with at least 2 years of emergency department experience.
• Texas medical license or ability to obtain one.
• DEA registration.
• Previous experience as a medical director or assistant medical director.
