Emergency Medicine – Assistant Professor

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, management and outcome evaluation for patients’ outpatient settings.
• Educate patients, families and staff.
• Assess the physical status of clients through interview, health history and physical examination in both inpatient and outpatient services.
• Formulate treatment plans for health problems and continue follow‑ups.
• Write prescriptions for medication, blood tests and routine diagnostic and follow‑up studies and therapeutic measures.
• Evaluate the quality of care provided and recommend changes for improvement.
• Share clinical expertise with personnel.
• Document and report care in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements

• Medical Doctorate degree.
• Epic EMR experience is preferred.
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
• Physician license for the state of Kentucky.
• ACLS/BLS Certification.
