Full Time – 80 Hours Every Two Weeks, Day shift

Compensation

Hourly: $16.00 – $20.80 (base salary range; actual may vary based on skills and experience)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, discharges, and essential healthcare facilities.
• Assist patients during boarding, disembarking, and throughout the trip.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, including regular sanitization procedures.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients and dispatchers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules.
• Remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients at all times.
• Provide a professional, supportive presence during transport.
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during transportation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bilingual – Spanish required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Fleet Safety Clearance and completion of Fleet Safety Education.
• Compassionate, patient demeanor when interacting with patients and families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Previous experience in transportation or customer service preferred.
