Emergency Department Veterinarian

Compensation

• Base Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Production/Commission: 20% – 23%

What You’ll Do

• Triage, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of emergent and critical conditions in companion animals
• Perform emergency procedures and surgeries, including stabilization of critically ill or injured patients
• Collaborate closely with specialists, technicians, and support staff to provide coordinated, round‑the‑clock care
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients during high‑stress, emotional situations
• Maintain thorough, accurate medical records and ensure smooth handoffs between shifts
• Stay current on best practices in emergency and critical care medicine

What We’re Looking For

• DVM degree with an active veterinary license
• Experience in emergency medicine preferred; strong general practitioners with a passion for ER medicine are welcome to apply
• Excellent clinical judgment and the ability to make confident decisions under pressure
• Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
