Job Summary
The registered nurse collaborates with the healthcare team to diagnose and treat patients by performing assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. Responsibilities include conducting multi-system assessments, developing individualized care and discharge plans, delegating tasks appropriately, administering medications, and documenting care accurately. Qualifications
- Minimum nine months of RN experience, with one year in emergency department or completion of a related internship.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licenses and certifications include RN license (Oregon), BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS, PALS or Pediatric Emergency Course within six months of hire.
Skills And Additional Requirements
- Computer skills and emergency pediatric training.
- Preferred qualifications include prior healthcare experience, a bachelor’s degree, certifications such as CEN and TNCC, and skills in recognizing cardiac dysrhythmias, communication, and teamwork.
