Job Summary


The registered nurse collaborates with the healthcare team to diagnose and treat patients by performing assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. Responsibilities include conducting multi-system assessments, developing individualized care and discharge plans, delegating tasks appropriately, administering medications, and documenting care accurately. The role involves coordinating patient care activities, utilizing protocols, and participating in quality assurance.



Qualifications



  • Minimum nine months of RN experience, with one year in emergency department or completion of a related internship.

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

  • Licenses and certifications include RN license (Oregon), BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS, PALS or Pediatric Emergency Course within six months of hire.



Skills And Additional Requirements



  • Computer skills and emergency pediatric training.

  • Preferred qualifications include prior healthcare experience, a bachelor’s degree, certifications such as CEN and TNCC, and skills in recognizing cardiac dysrhythmias, communication, and teamwork.
