Emergency Department RN Manager
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Emergency Department nursing operations, staffing, and patient flow.
- Supervise, support, and evaluate nursing staff while promoting professional development.
- Monitor patient care, clinical outcomes, documentation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Manage staffing needs, scheduling, performance issues, and departmental resources.
- Respond to complex clinical situations and support staff during emergencies.
- Track department performance and communicate operational updates to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current RN license in the applicable state.
- Previous Emergency Department nursing and leadership/management experience required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
