Shift

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a mixed acuity, emergency department setting.
• Coordinate patient care with ED team and maintain patient safety.

Required Experience & Licensure

• 12 months of ED RN experience required, with some experience in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience.
• Epic experience required (any duration).
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• Travel-only role; local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission; religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Certifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS (Provider/Instructor/RQI acceptable)
• NIHSS (Stroke Scale)
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, BLS

Requirements & Onboarding

• Pre-employment modules may be required. Upload certifications or health documents to expedite onboarding.
• Unit details: ratios with mixed/shared acuity levels.
• Open to accommodating block schedule; RTO restrictions: minimal.
• Shifts: Every other weekend; 4 shifts per week; 12-hour shifts.

Additional Details

• 7 days maximum time off; 2 references from last 2 years required; proof of identification required.

Required & Preferred Skills

• Required Skills: Emergency Department care for adults/pediatrics, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, multisystem dysfunction, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting IVs, IV paralytics/sedation, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, CVA/isolation precautions.
• Preferred Skills: Teaching Hospital experience.

• Neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics.
