Requirements
Active RN license required
Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience required
Cerner EMR experience required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred/required by facility standards
NIH Stroke Scale certification recommended
Charge Nurse experience preferred (+additional pay possible)
Must be willing to float
Responsibilities
Provide emergency nursing care utilizing the nursing process
Assess, triage, and stabilize emergency patients
Deliver safe patient care in trauma and critical care situations
Supervise and delegate patient care activities appropriately
Maintain clinical competencies and documentation accuracy
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
