Job Overview

IES has an opportunity for an Emergency Department Medical Director at Baylor Scott & White - Marble Falls.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects of the emergency department.
• Manage the quality improvement plan, including attending regular meetings and reviewing medical records.
• Supervise staff, provide feedback, and ensure provision of high-quality care.
• Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing.
• Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine.
• Active Texas Medical License & DEA.
• Previous experience as a Medical Director or Assistant Medical Director.
