The Director is responsible for directing, managing, and delegating individualized patient care for those seeking urgent, emergent, or traumatic care by promoting and restoring patients’ health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. The Director reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current registered nurse license in the State of Texas
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years as Director or other management/supervisory experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- CEN certification required.
Certifications and Competencies
- Required Certifications upon hire : BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC
- Required Competencies acquired at hire : Stat Strip, Basic EKG, Hospital Mandatory Education
- Acquires the following certifications within 1 year of hire : TNCC
