Role Overview
Provides direct patient care in emergency settings within established standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-treatment needs.
- Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, participating in professional development.
- Develops and documents individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients.
- Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers to involvement.
- Maintains safety-sensitive responsibilities requiring alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensure as RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; BSN preferred.
- No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher qualifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
