This position is 100% on-site.The Engineer – Embedded Software Tester responsibilities include:Work with the embedded software development team in creating test cases for existing and new embedded software, configured under a common code baseWork with the existing test case development team and create allocated unit tests for existing code, growing into reviewing unit test cases of others and improving the unit test tool chainResponsible for ensuring all work products created, comply with WI software standards to support overall product compliance with industry software quality standards, such as DO-178CBe a part of hardware in the loop testing, both on the target end items as well as system simulatorsFuture opportunities for this position include development of hardware in the loop test cases for product acceptance, integration testing of the end item software, and development of new features in the product softwareQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, with preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or aboveKnowledge of fundamental software testing paradigms such as unit testing and code coverageExposure to the C programming languageExperience and knowledge of microcontrollers, with experience in Power PC or TI microcontrollers preferredOne to two summer intern or co-op experiences in an engineering environment preferredU.S. Citizenship is requiredPosition requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
