Engineering & Technology (E&T) Associate ManagerLockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is looking for an Engineering & Technology (E&T) Associate Manager that will be responsible for the management and development of their team, support of department initiatives and directorate undertakings, and driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution! As a Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Management and development of the teamProviding technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions.Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activitiesCoordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development.Supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their programIt is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. Other related degree field with significant software development experienceExperience with embedded development using a real-time operating systemDemonstrated ability to manage complex technical embedded software systems/programsProcess Improvement and Affordability experienceSoftware engineering Management or Software engineering Team Lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoringDesired Skills:Strong software architecture and design experience.C/C++/Ada experienceLinux/VxWorks experienceDevSecOps experience (CI/CD, Git/Gitlab)Agile development (Scrum/Kanban)Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teamsBasis of Estimate (BOE) developmentControl Account Manager (CAM) experienceIn addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employmentEarned Value Management System (EVMS) experience including Agile EVMSExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPrior Engineering ManagementProposal DevelopmentStrong business acumen, management influence and whole systems thinkingStrong interpersonal skillsSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret
