- Design and construct specialized testbeds to evaluate PAT system performance.
- Write software for telemetry, data acquisition, and system analysis.
- Conduct hardware-in-the-loop testing to validate system capabilities.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues within embedded tracking systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate testing setups.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (an interim clearance is acceptable to start).
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in embedded C/C++ software development.
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink for control system modeling and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Linux or other embedded operating systems.
- Familiarity with camera interfaces (such as Digital Focal Plane Arrays) and image processing.
- Experience utilizing Git or similar version control systems.
- Prior experience working with Pointing, Acquisition, and Tracking (PAT) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Solid understanding of control theory, including PID loops and state-space analysis.
- Knowledge of analog electronics and mixed-signal design.
