JOB TITLE: Senior Embedded Software Engineer

LOCATION: New York (on-site)

Our client builds automated robotic systems for the healthcare industry.

Role: Design, develop, and test device control software at the driver and application level for a robotic system, integrating hardware and software across a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or industrial control
  • Strong C/C++ and Python
  • Real-time systems, multithreading, PID-based control
  • Hardware comms: Ethernet, Serial, SPI, I2C
  • Pluses: ROS/YARP, MODBUS, CI/CD
