JOB TITLE: Senior Embedded Software Engineer
LOCATION: New York (on-site)
Our client builds automated robotic systems for the healthcare industry.
Role: Design, develop, and test device control software at the driver and application level for a robotic system, integrating hardware and software across a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or industrial control
- Strong C/C++ and Python
- Linux environment, Git
- Real-time systems, multithreading, PID-based control
- Hardware comms: Ethernet, Serial, SPI, I2C
- Pluses: ROS/YARP, MODBUS, CI/CD
