Embedded Software Engineer IIIDPP is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer III for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.Work location: Onsite in Chandler, AZDuration: 12 monthsTerms: W2 ContractWork Authorization: US Citizen; must hold an active/current DoD Secret security clearance investigated within the last 5 yearsPosition SummaryThe Embedded Software Engineer III will work for Launch Systems and play a pivotal role in performing software development for one of our many programs.ResponsibilitiesSupports requirements development, architecture development, detailed design, code & unit test, and integration & test of real-time computer embedded softwareEnsure software standards are met.Work in a collaborative multi-discipline team environmentRequired QualificationsActive DoD Secret security clearance investigated within the last 5 yearsThis position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related degreeObject Oriented (OO) Software development experience in C/C++ on Linux environmentExperience in embedded real-time software development, debug and testExperience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) environments including VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or other equivalent RTOSExperience with full software development lifecycleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with PowerPC, ARM, and/or RISC-V architectureExperience in design, integration and testing with real time computers in loop and hardware in loop test laboratoriesExperience in developing interfaces to support weapon system integration effortsInterested?
