Ability to easily bring up projects using a vendor IDE such as Atmel Studio, Cypress Creator, IAR Workbench, or other.
Experience debugging HW- and FW-related issues. Some knowledge of wireless protocols such as Zigbee, Z-Wave or proprietary.
Experience creating microcontroller projects using either bare-metal implementations or RTOS. Fundamental knowledge of battery-powered devices. Basic ability to use lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and bench supplies. Assembly language programming is a plus. C++ programming is a plus.
