Embedded Energy Software EngineerAs an Embedded Energy Software Engineer, you will develop embedded software for electronics control systems supporting diesel engine programs and electrification programs.This role is responsible for developing library software while utilizing system requirements to design, develop, and test. Software Activities are assigned and working with an architect, completed and merged into the mainline library release. There is also occasional support required from our process partners which can require troubleshooting software with a debugger.Areas of responsibility include the development of embedded software features in the C programming language and Matlab/Simulink to meet system requirements.Technical skills required include 3+ years industry experience in embedded control software development experience is required. Embedded C language programming, Matlab/Simulink, CAN/SAE J1939, experience with scripting languages such as Python.
Experience with the following tools: Git, Clearcase, Trace 32 Debugger, CANalyzer, Cat ET Service Tool. Knowledge of diesel engine control and operation.
