Owning the day-to-day execution and growth of owned-channel messaging, the remote Email & SMS Marketing Specialist will manage email and SMS campaigns, design automated customer journeys, and integrate AI for performance optimization. Key responsibilities Create, schedule, and send email and SMS campaigns, including managing 2-3 recurring daily newsletters Design and implement lifecycle programs, owning the journey logic and automation behind them Build and launch new newsletters from scratch using platforms like CleverTap and beehiiv Required qualifications 3-5 years of experience in retention, lifecycle, or CRM marketing, preferably in finance, gaming, or consumer products Hands-on experience designing and building automated flows, including segmentation and trigger logic Data-fluent with the ability to pull and interpret performance data independently Experience with CleverTap, beehiiv, or similar email/SMS platforms is a plus Demonstrable experience starting and growing an email newsletter from scratch
