This role includes a wide range of responsibilities from designing cabling systems to sustaining production activities and evaluating alternate components and assemblies. Working on-site is required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Design and implement cabling systems specific to electro-mechanical hardware based on best-practices.Write Engineering Change Orders (ECO) for Bill of Materials (BOM) modifications and/or creation.Oversee and manage configurations for CNC control systems.Sustain production activities as required.valuate alternate source components and assemblies to ensure requirements are met for existing designs, sustaining, and/or cost reduction.Conduct testing and/or manage pilot runs for new components or assemblies.Propose and implement problem solutions through analysis, problem definition, and requirement generation.Create engineering documentation for solutions.Investigate and mitigate any failures in existing designs.Follow company protocols, escalate issues impacting workflow or quality as needed.• Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.• Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.Qualifications
