ELL Teacher - School Year

The ELL Teacher supports a joyful, structured, and purposeful learning environment where multilingual learners feel a sense of belonging and are empowered to succeed academically and socially. The teacher provides high-quality English language development instruction, collaborates with classroom teachers to ensure equitable access to grade-level content, and builds authentic relationships with students and families to foster language acquisition and overall student growth. The ELL Teacher plays a key role in implementing the school's vision for equity and excellence, ensuring all students achieve at high levels and embody the school's core values of practice, service, and purpose. The ELL Teacher reports to the Assistant Principal of Instruction and collaborates with the school team to create a positive and adaptive learning environment. Pay Rate is $43.00/hr

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, TESOL, ESL, or a related fi eld required; Master's Degree preferred.

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification (or eligibility for certification); ESL Program Specialist certification preferred or required based on state guidelines.

• At least one year of experience working with multilingual learners preferred.

• Strong knowledge of language acquisition strategies, culturally responsive instruction, and differentiated teaching practices.

• Demonstrated success in supporting student academic growth and language development.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
