To support patients in accessing financial assistance for medical care, the full-time hourly Eligibility Specialist 2 will conduct eligibility screenings, facilitate applications for government and charity programs, and act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, all while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Conduct advanced eligibility screenings to assess financial assistance eligibility and provide guidance on available programs Facilitate the application process for programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, and hospital charity care, ensuring timely submission of accurate documentation Act as a liaison between patients, hospital staff, and government agencies to establish eligibility and resolve coverage issues Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in healthcare or financial counseling Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities accurately Ability to work independently in potentially isolated settings Reliable internet connection and a secure workspace
