Grain Elevator Worker

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Grain Elevator Worker to join our agricultural operations team. This position plays a key role in receiving, handling, storing, and loading grain while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities

• Receive, weigh, sample, and grade incoming grain shipments.
• Load and unload trucks, railcars, and other grain transportation equipment.
• Operate grain handling equipment, including conveyors, augers, and elevators.
• Monitor grain quality and storage conditions.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping throughout the facility.
• Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment as needed.
• Complete required documentation and inventory records accurately.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with seasonal harvest operations and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous grain handling, agricultural, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTAION to travel up to 40 miles

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work at varying heights.
• Comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions, dust, and temperature fluctuations.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
