Supervisor: Building Principal

Job Summary: Provide academic, social, emotional and behavioral instruction. Under general direction of the Principal, the teacher creates a flexible academic program and environment, favorable to learning and personal growth in accordance with students' ability. Instruct children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
Qualifications:
- Appropriate Valid IL Certification
Essential Functions:
- Provide instruction; differentiating to meet the needs of each individual student.
- Establish and maintain classroom management required to achieve effective participation in all activities.
- Evaluate academic and social growth of students and keep appropriate intervention records.
- Communicate with parents through a variety of means.
- Maintain professional competence through in-service activities provided by the District, as well as other professional growth activities.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
