Elementary Resource Teacher
Position starts: August 6, 2026
Schedule: 9:00AM to 3:45PM, Monday thru Friday in keeping with academic schedule.
Primary purpose: To provide on campus, classroom instruction for middle and/or high school students in a diverse, private school in Jacksonville, Florida.
Responsibilities include: providing appropriate learning experiences for students across a range of cultural backgrounds; ensuring proper classroom etiquette and behavior; prepare and follow class appropriate lesson plans. Communicating effectively with students and parents concerning students progress, working both independently and with the department team to ensure student success; strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.
Qualifications: Applicants must have one of the following;
- Previously taught in a Florida public or private school for 3 or more years or;
- Bachelor's degree (4 years from an accredited university)
Benefits/compensation include:
- Hourly $16.50 to $18.50, per hour
- Participation in 403(b) retirement plan is available immediately, upon hire
