Job Summary: This is a 1.0 FTE non-continuing, leave replacement, position for a Music Teacher. Under the direction of the Principal, responsible for developing in each student an appreciation of the art of music as part of general culture; teaching techniques of vocal or instrumental music expression; discovering and developing talents of students in the field of music; and developing knowledge and skills in listening to and reading music. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.
Total Comp Salary Range: $75,666 - $150,267 per Snohomish Education Association Salary Schedule (Anticipated salary increase effective September 1, 2026). Placement is determined by verified education and work experience. Salary will be prorated for less than full-year and/or part-time positions.
Dates of Assignment: School Year
Contract: 180-days, includes 12 sick and 3 personal days per year (prorated for less than a full school year)
Endorsement Required: Elementary Education/Music

- Valid State of Washington teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.
- Possess and maintain a valid First Aid and CPR certification for duration of employment with the District when required for position by Board Policy.
