Elementary Instructional Teaching Assistant
Enfield Public Schools is accepting applications for the following position. Position(s): Elementary Instructional Teaching Assistant (temporary: through the school year only).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, prior teaching experience, or concurrent enrollment in a pre-service teaching program preferred
- Prior experience working in a classroom setting
- Ability to facilitate small group instruction
- Ability to assist in developing and preparing activities in collaboration with the classroom teacher
- Ability to partner with classroom teacher to independently deliver classroom instruction
- Strong math and literacy skills
Hourly rate: $25.00 per hour to start. Benefits: Single plan coverage. Hours per week: 6.5 hours per day (follows the school calendar). Flexible job share opportunity possible. Closing date: until filled.
