ELEMENTARY ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Primary Purpose
Support the principal in directing assigned instructional programs, campus operations, and student services to promote student achievement and a positive school climate.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required
• Texas principal or appropriate Texas administrative certification
• AEL, ILT, or ILD certification preferred
• Minimum three (3) years of classroom teaching experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and campus operations
• Ability to evaluate instruction, manage personnel, and interpret data
• Understanding of student support services and graduation pathways
• Ability to implement policies and procedures
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
