This role is critical to supporting FAA-regulated aerospace components and high-reliability industrial parts.If you have a background in aerospace plating, metal finishing, or NADCAP environments, this is a strong opportunity to grow with a stable, high-demand operation in the San Fernando Valley region.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities (Electroplating / Metal Finishing)Perform full-cycle electroplating operations: preparation, masking, fixturing, plating, and teardownExecute Hard Chrome, Thin Dense Chrome (TDC), Cadmium, Copper, and Electroless Nickel plating processesNondestructive Testing (NDT) support and process interface — Magnetic Particle (MT/MPI) and Liquid Penetrant (PT/FPI)Prepare parts via cleaning, surface prep, and precision surface preparation and Aluminum-Oxide BlastingDesign and build anodes, racks, fixtures, and tooling for complex geometriesConduct ID (inner diameter) and OD (outer diameter) platingSet up and operate plating tanks, rectifiers, and process equipmentMonitor and control plating parameters (temperature, current density, time, chemistry)Masking and Demasking — including plugs, tapes, lacquers, and complex selective-plating boundariesStress-Relief and Hydrogen-Embrittlement Relief BakingPerform assembly, fixturing, and post-process teardownComplete travelers, work orders, and process documentation accuratelyMaintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas (5S / safety standards)Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to meet strict aerospace requirementsQualificationsRequired Qualifications (Plating / Aerospace Manufacturing)Experience in electroplating, metal finishing, or surface treatmentHands-on expertise with masking, fixturing, and tooling fabricationAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specsStrong understanding of process control, tolerances, and quality standardsExperience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments preferredFamiliarity with NADCAP, FAA, or AS9100 standards is a plusHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environmentStrong team collaboration and communication skillsAdditional Information EEO Statement Our client is an equal employment opportunity (EEO) employer to all persons regardless of age, color national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
