Lovelace Medical Group and the New Mexico Heart Institute are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or NP with a background in electrophysiology, cardiac care, critical care, or intensive care to join our well‑established, patient‑centered cardiology team in Albuquerque, NM.
Position Highlights
- Full‑time inpatient/outpatient rotation
- No call or weekend requirements
- Collaborate with electrophysiologists to manage patients with arrhythmias and other EP‑related conditions
- Provide follow‑up care, patient education, and medication management
- Access to advanced on‑site diagnostics including echo, vascular, CT, and nuclear imaging
- Be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team that values APPs as integral providers
- Smart technology: Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation and improve patient flow, leading to better work‑life balance and revenue
Qualifications
- Licensed PA or NP with prescriptive authority in NewMexico
- DEA license required
- Minimum 1–2 years of cardiology or EP experience preferred
