Electronics Test TechnicianThe Electronics Test Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, cleaning, and preparing industrial PLCs and electronic control units for sale. This role supports Quality Assurance operations by ensuring all equipment meets Radwell standards for performance, accuracy, and readiness for distribution.This position is ideal for individuals with strong technical aptitude who enjoy hands-on work with electronics, troubleshooting equipment, and working in a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesVerify part numbers and identify components on all processed unitsInspect, clean, and test industrial PLCs and electronic control equipmentPerform power-up and diagnostic testing to confirm functionalityUtilize shop assets, testing equipment, and fixtures correctlyProgram units as required for testing and validationSupport quality methods, processes, and proceduresAssist in improving product quality and operational capabilitiesPerform occasional light repair work and component-level troubleshootingProcess units to "RTS" (Ready To Sell) conditionEnsure proper handling, labeling, and documentation of all unitsCapture estimated parts and labor costs for repairsManage time effectively and prioritize daily workloadUse internal IT systems to track and document work performedProvide and maintain personal hand and power toolsPerform other duties, tasks, or work as assignedQualificationsExperience in a technical, electronics, or industrial environment preferredBasic understanding of electronic testing and troubleshootingStrong computer skills and ability to learn Radwell systemsPositive, team-oriented attitudeStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to identify process improvements and support implementationAbility to evaluate and resolve problems as they ariseWillingness to work additional hours when needed to support production demandsKnowledge & Skills RequiredStrong computer proficiencyAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detailStrong problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication skillsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical school training or 1–3 years of related experience preferredExperience with electronics, PLCs, or industrial controls is a plusPhysical DemandsOccasional sitting, reaching, working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawlingFrequent walkingContinuous standing and repetitive hand motionFrequent lifting up to 25 pounds and continuous lifting up to 10 poundsCompensationThe recruiting base pay rate for this full-time position is $18.00-$20.00 per hour.
