Electronics Test TechnicianPGS Worldwide is seeking an Electronics Test Technician in Oldsmar, Florida for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This onsite 2nd shift position supports testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and assembly of electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassembly units in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires strong component-level troubleshooting skills, flying probe experience, and the ability to work from schematics and standard test procedures to support customer schedules.Required Skills1 year of direct experience testing electronic assembliesProficiency in component-level troubleshooting of solid state, digital, and RF circuitsFlying probe test experienceHigh power test experienceAbility to use Microsoft Office and other data collection programs to document maintenance actions accuratelyAbility to set up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic circuit card assemblies and subassembliesAbility to adjust and calibrate electronic assembly systemsAbility to correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts and componentsAbility to use schematic diagrams to isolate failures on analog and digital circuitryStrong knowledge of solid state devices and micro-circuitryProficiency using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, frequency standards, signal generators, and RF power metersPreferred SkillsExtensive RF testing experienceFamiliarity with radar systemsICT experienceAdditional flying probe experienceMilitary backshop experience involving repair and troubleshootingWhat You'll DoSet up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassembly units following established methods and proceduresLay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specificationsAdjust and calibrate electronic assembly systems as requiredCorrect malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or componentsUse hand tools, small power tools, and measuring and testing devices to support production testingDetermine types of tests to be performed and help analyze test results to evaluate product performanceAssist engineers in design and development of test procedures for new productsRecommend product improvements or manufacturing modificationsTroubleshoot analog, digital, and RF circuitry to the component levelSupport quality verification in accordance with process control proceduresWork at a high level of output in support of customer schedulesWork Schedule / ShiftMonday through Thursday3:30 PM - 2:00 AMOvertime available on weekendsMilitary veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
