Electronics EngineerThe Secure Embedded Systems department is seeking a motivated electronics engineer to support state-of-the-art printed circuit board (PCB) layout for large multi-disciplinary programs critical to national security. The successful candidate will support a team in the design, development, test, and deployment of novel embedded computing solutions. The successful candidate will have a background in, and understanding of, printed circuit board layout, test, and debug.You will work alongside world-class experts and use your skills in the following areas:Layout of custom, state-of-the-art PCBsPCB test and debugTeam with PCB designers, firmware, and software engineers to create embedded computing solutionsDue to the nature of the work, the selected applicant will be required to work onsite.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering.Experience and understanding with printed circuit board layoutAbility to obtain a DOE Q clearanceQualifications Desired:Certified Interconnect Designer (CID) CertificationCertified Interconnect Designer Advanced (CID+) CertificationCertified Printed Circuit Designer (CPCD) certificationExperience with Siemens layout tools (PADS and/or Expedition)Experience with high-layer-count stack-ups (18+ copper layers)Experience with PCB layout, testing, and debugging for applications involving state-of-the-art FPGAs, highspeed, and large memoryExperience routing signals with high-speed data-rates (5+ gb/s)Experience routing modern memory topologies (DDR4/5)Experience with fine design features (3 mil trace & space)Active DOE Q clearanceAbility to work independently and collaborate well in a multidisciplinary team of designers and test engineers.
