Electronics TechnicianOldsmar, FLPay Rate: $25/hour - $30/hour on W2 (All Inclusive) Duration: 12+ months (Possible for extension)Shift: Mon-Thurs 5 AM-3:30 PM with OT available on the weekendsDescriptionSets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic circuit card assembliesRF circuits and subassembly units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequencesLays out and assembles units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specificationsAdjust and calibrate electronic assembly systems as requiredCorrects malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components as directedUses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job dutiesDetermines types of tests to be performed, approves and suggests modifications to testing equipment, and analyzes test results to evaluate performance of products and equipmentAssists engineers in design and development of test procedures for new products and recommends product improvements or manufacturing modificationsMay monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control proceduresTroubleshoots to the component levelUtilizes schematic diagrams to isolate failures on Analog and Digital circuitryRequires a strong knowledge of Solid-State devices and micro-circuitryWorks in a dynamic production environment and can produce at a high level in support of customer schedulesProficient in the use of various measurement devices including Digital Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, frequency Standards, signal generators, and RF Power MetersBasic Qualifications1 year of direct experience with testing electronic assembliesProficient in component level troubleshooting of solid state, digital, and RF circuitsAble to use Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs to accurately document maintenance actionsFlying probe test experience needed, troubleshooting a mustDesired SkillsExtensive RF Testing experienceFamiliarity with Radar SystemsICT/Flying Probe experienceTypical MinimumsHigh School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 3 Year of experienceSets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic circuit card assemblies and subassembly following methods, procedures, standards, and sequencesLays out and assembles units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specificationsAdjusts and calibrates systems as requiredCorrects malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components as directed
