Electronics TechnicianLocation: On-site in Lynchburg, VirginiaYour Day-to-Day as an Electronic Technician:Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment.Safely operate cranes, hoists, power tools, motorized equipment, and hand tools.Document daily activities in the SAP PM module.Follow specialized procedures while working in a radiological environment.Identify, repair, and replace faulty equipment using strong observational, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.Collaborate with coworkers and the Planning Department to locate parts and schedule necessary repairs.Adhere to and enforce all safety rules and guidelines.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Minimum Qualifications:Associate's degree in electronics, an Electrical Certificate, or a DPOR Trade Certification Card (Electrical Journeyman/Master).At least 6 years of industrial experience, or 4 years of industrial experience plus Journeyman experience.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering instructions.Proven experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment up to 480 V, 3-phase.Proven experience with installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic instrumentation.Demonstrated experience with installing, troubleshooting, and repairing PLCs.Working knowledge of a CMMS such as SAP.Self-starter, team-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.Ability to obtain and maintain respirator qualifications.Willingness to attend training classes and seminars.Must be a U.S. citizen.Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.Preferred Additional Qualification(s): Knowledge of HVAC, Cryogenics, basic vacuum and leak detection.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, and retirement plans.Professional development opportunities, including mentorship programs and sponsorship for continuing education.An inclusive atmosphere that celebrates new perspectives and supports collaboration between different generations.The chance to be part of a mission-driven organization making a positive impact on the future of energy.Opportunities for continuous learning and training to grow throughout your career!Pay: $64,000 - $90,000
