Electronics TechnicianJob Summary: Electronic Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electronic control modules. Primary duties include learning and following detailed work instructions, contributing to team efforts, checking and testing units for failure, finding and reviewing schematics and board prints, troubleshooting boards, repairing boards using test equipment and soldering equipment, retesting to ensure board passes, keeping logs of units repaired in the CMS system, and participating in various improvement activities.Qualifications: Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with coworkers, ability to work independently and as a team member, schematic reading and layout drawing reading, demonstrate proper use of DVM, oscilloscope, tracker, and other diagnostic tools, ability to identify different types of electronic components, commitment to meeting production demands and quality requirements, understand customer requirements as they relate to their job function, ability to identify and address and/or communicate any potential non-conformances, ability to get to work on time with minimal absences.
Education/Experience: Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or similar discipline and/or equivalent military experience, soldering experience.
