Electronics Technician IIPGS Worldwide is seeking an Electronics Technician II for a 6-month contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. In this role, you will support C-130J aircraft modification efforts by installing, routing, terminating, and testing electrical harnesses and cable assemblies. The position requires interpreting engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation while performing aircraft electrical installation and modification work in accordance with established procedures.Required SkillsMinimum four (4) years of avionics experience in Communications/Navigation, Guidance Control, Electronic Warfare, Electro/Environmental systems, or equivalent fieldsStrong ability to read and interpret aircraft electrical drawingsMinimum equivalent of a USAF 7-Level (Craftsman)Ability to install, route, terminate, and test electrical cables and harnessesExperience working with Fiber Optic, 1553 Data Bus, RF, Twinax, Triax, Quadrax, and Ethernet cable systemsAbility to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, routing drawings, and harness assembly drawingsExperience using hand tools, power tools, support equipment, and calibrated test equipmentAbility to read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical dataU.S.
