Electronics TechnicianThe Electronics Technician supports all assigned maintenance activities with a focus on electrical systems, PLCs, drives, and safety compliance. This role is hands-on and responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of a wide variety of electronic and electrical equipment in a nonwoven industrial environment. The technician must be knowledgeable in medium and low voltage systems, industrial protocols, and precision calibration techniques.Primary ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair PLC systems including GE Fanuc, Allen Bradley, and Siemens.Program, tune, and repair VFDs including Siemens G120, Masterdrives, Yaskawa, Emerson, Toshiba, and Lenze.Recognize and isolate medium voltage systems (4kV and 12kV) and establish Electrically Safe Work Conditions (ESWC) in line with NFPA 70E.Troubleshoot 480V, 3-phase systems and understand safe LOTO practices.Calibrate and validate electronic and pneumatic instruments.Interpret and occasionally modify electrical schematics and PLC programs.Understand and troubleshoot analog signal and communication networks (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet).Use CMMS to enter work orders, log maintenance activity, and request parts.Communicate effectively with shift teams, planners, and engineering staff.Ensure clean, organized, and safe work areas; participate in safety and schedule meetings.Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.QualificationsAssociate's Degree in Industrial Electronics or related discipline preferred; equivalent work experience considered.Minimum 5 years of industrial electronics maintenance or reliability experience.Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and control systems including low and medium voltage equipment.Working knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards and PPE requirements.Experience in interpreting and working with electrical drawings and instrumentation.Familiarity with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office tools.Ability to work independently on a 12-hour fixed night shift schedule.Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentMust be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds regularly.Ability to work in tight spaces and elevated areas throughout 12-hour shifts.Exposure to industrial noise, heat, humidity, cold, and chemical environments.Work performed in and around fast-moving production machinery.Must be comfortable using PPE and navigating production floor safety requirements.
