As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.Responsibilities What you'll do:This position will require 75% travel, to both domestic and international work sites. The length of the travel will be dependent on the project being supported at the time.Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits.Installing and maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.Programming and installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing.Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventoryPerforming Take off project drawingsCreate, document and track RFIs.Design assist and feedbackDocumenting daily reports and project progress.Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to managementCreate and manage Project scheduleIntegration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systemsForecast and manage project labor hoursCommunicate effectively with supervisors and subordinatesGuide and mentor techniciansQualifications Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance is REQUIRED Key Requirements:Requires a valid driver's licenseThis position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy.Education: HS diploma or GED Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program or An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activitiesRequired Progressive Experience: 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programsStrong oral, written and presentation skills.Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills is a plus.Desired / Advantageous QualificationsVendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systemsSoftware House CCURE, Verint, MDI, AMAG Symmetry, Bosch BVMS, Bosch IDS, Hirsch, Intercom Systems AIphone, FFT, Honeywell Video & Vindicator, and Proximex certifications and experience in installation of said systems.Lenel OnGuard Enterprise Security System certification (1000 and 2000)What we offer:A collaborative team inspired by the way engineering and innovation enhance customer outcomes, improve lives, and change the world for the better.
