When finished, our belts are marked with the Gates logo and shipped to customers around the world.An Electrical Technician's duties and responsibilities include the following:Build and test operability of electronic systems and componentsTroubleshoot and repair malfunctioning circuits, programs, and controlsService or calibrate electronic test equipment or electronic control systemsUse RSLogix 5000 to troubleshoot programs for control logix and compact logixUse RSLogix 500 to troubleshoot programs for Micro Logix, SLC 504 "s and SLC 505'sUse RSLogix 5 to troubleshoot programs for PLC 5'sTroubleshoot and install sensors, switches, light curtains, guidance systems INPUT/ OUTPUT devicesSetup and configure Panel ViewsWire CabinetsSet up and configure AB Servo Drives and tuning their motorsSet up and configure AC drivesAbout You Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.

High School Diploma/GED required - Associate's Degree/Technical Certification preferred (electronics/electrical field) 2 - 4 years of experience in related field preferred Must be able to diagnose and repair electronic equipment and also interpret electrical drawings/schematics and ladder diagrams Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance Must have demonstrated understanding of regulatory environments Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction Basic reading, math, computer (Microsoft Suite), and measurement skills required Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorshipPerks At Work Great team culture that works together to get the job done Eligible for benefits in 30 days or less, including 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off - starting at a max of 21 days per year!
